I don't know how they did it

In our little group of friends, we all have bad falling out's with technological companies (most notably Ben's complete withdrawl of Windows...but that's a story for another day). I think I'm going to be joining Ben in a semi-withdrawl from a certain company...Epic-Games.

Epic recently released Unreal Tournament 3. Now if you know anything about me, you know that I kick absolute ass at this game (not to boast...but it's true). So you would expect me to get this game right? Well thanks to my devious ways, I snagged the game online. Best of all it came with a working CD-key. Well, I think karma came back to bite me in the ass.

THIS IS THE BUGGIEST GAME I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF PLAYING IN MY LIFE!

That's right, you just heard me insult Unreal Tournament 3. Now people will be quick to jump on the bandwagon and say "Ryan...Vista is probably your problem". Nope. My main computer has 3 Operating Systems on it. Vista, XP, and Kubuntu. After attempting to run the game in Vista, XP, and Kubuntu. Vista-nay sayers would be EXTREMELY hard pressed to say Vista is the problem here. Even after the latest patch from Epic Games, updating my graphics card drivers, updating my LAN ports, even so much as updating my motherboard's firmware and router firmware. The multi player games cannot be connected to. And the ones you can connect to (all 3 of 'em) are unbelievably laggy.

But wait...it gets better, this is only for PC users. Playstation 3 users claim the game works flawlessly.

So I'm about to defy the gamer's first rule of FPS's.

If you are going to buy Unreal Tournament 3. Buy it for the PS3 or Xbox 360, skip the PC version. It will save you from becoming friends with your aspirins, or liquor cabinet. If you really want to play UT on the PC...keep playing 2004.

Irashai!

Hello! and Welcome to my Blog!

Yeah I've decided to enter the blog world because...well Facebook notes don't cut it anymore.

I'm not treating this as a place to cry cause mommy and daddy dont love me or be the token emo kid. In fact, I enjoy my life, where I am in life (getting paid $300 every 2 weeks at my job), and I enjoy who my friends are.

I'll try and update this as much as possible, so stay tuned!
